10-bit input sampling makes a visible difference

The VAC-12HUC converts HDMI 2.0 to USB-C (USB3.0/USB2.0) up to UHD 3840x2160p at 30fps. HDMI input has active loop-thru allowing the original high-quality source to be routed to monitors or other equipment as a pass thru. Common applications include live streaming, video conferencing and other PC or MAC-based applications.

Power is supplied by the USB-C connection to the host computer reducing clutter and eliminating the need for an external power supply. The rugged and compact design makes for easy portability and mobility.

The VAC-12HUC's simple plug-and-play design uses UVC protocol to enable itself as a Camera Device. UVC protocol allows the host computer to set the parameters for the USB stream such as resolution, frame rate and aspect ratio.

HDMI Color Sampling Formats supported:
1080p/720p: YCbCr 4:4:4 8/10/12bits, YCbCr 4:2:2 8bits and RGB 8/10/12bits 2160p: YCbCr 4:4:4 8bits, YCbCr 4:2:0 8/10/12bits, RGB 8bits
