The TP-750 is a professional-grade 19-inch studio teleprompter designed to provide versatile and reliable prompting solutions for modern broadcast and video production. Engineered for adaptability, the system supports both Standard ENG and Freestanding configurations, making it compatible with a wide range of camera setups from compact DSLRs to full-sized ENG units.

Supports all cameras in Standard and Freestanding Configurations

The TP-750 teleprompters feature a multi-height riser system, enabling support for a wide range of cameras—from DSLR to ENG—in its standard configuration. Additionally, the TP-750 can be used in a freestanding setup with any camera.

Supports Talent Monitors

The TP-750 supports up to 19” talent monitors with VESA 75mm and 100mm mounts, ideal for use with our TLM-170 series monitors.

Built-in Teleprompter Application

The TP-750 features a bright 19” 5:4 LCD screen with the powerful dvPrompter Plus application built in, there is no need to run software on a laptop.

70/30 Glass

The Datavideo TP-750 does indeed utilize a 70/30 beam-splitter glass, which is a standard for high-end professional teleprompters.

This specific ratio means that 70% of the light from the subject passes through the glass to the camera lens, while 30% of the light from the monitor is reflected toward the talent. This provides a clear, readable script for the speaker without compromising too much light for the camera sensor.

Versatile Connectivity

The Datavideo TP-750 offers versatile connectivity options to accommodate various professional workflows, allowing users to drive the prompter display from a laptop via either HDMI or SDI. For straightforward, short-distance setups, a direct HDMI connection is the most common method for mirroring or extending the laptop’s desktop. However, for studio environments requiring longer cable runs or more robust locking connectors, the TP-750 supports 3G-SDI. Since most laptops do not feature native SDI outputs, this configuration typically requires an HDMI-to-SDI converter to bridge the laptop to the prompter. 

Supports PowerPoint and Keynote Slides

In addition to text-based scripts you can now import your Powerpoint or Keynote presentation slides via the web interface, slides can be controlled using the hardware WR-600 control or the web based remote control interface. dvPrompter Plus supports seamlessly switching between text-based scripts and slides, you can even add slides and text-based scripts to a playlist.

dvPrompter Plus supports mirroring slides in real time so your content is the right way around even when viewed via the mirror glass.

Optional Hardware Controllers

The TP-750 offers a versatile range of control options to suit any production environment, starting with the included WR-600 USB controller. This plug-and-play device features an intuitive rotary knob for granular speed adjustments and instant direction reversal, alongside four programmable buttons for a customized workflow. For presenters requiring more mobility, the optional WR-500 handheld remote provides compact, wireless Bluetooth control, while the optional FS-30 foot switch is the perfect solution for solo operators needing a completely hands-free experience. Whether you prefer tactile desktop precision, handheld freedom, or foot-pedal operation, these controllers ensure seamless script management for a professional delivery.

Integrated Time Management: Seamless Compatibility with the LTC-45

The Datavideo TP-750 is fully compatible with the LTC-45 Linear Time Code, creating a unified setup that brings precise time management directly into the talent's line of sight. By mounting the LTC-45 alongside the TP-750, presenters can easily monitor live production timing through the large, 45mm high-visibility characters without breaking eye contact with the camera.

This integration is particularly effective for live broadcasts and tightly scheduled studio recordings, as the LTC-45’s balanced timecode input ensures the prompter station remains perfectly synchronized with the control room.
